FreeAirfare related FAQs:
There is a retail store that has a promotion offering two free airline tickets for the purchase of their product. It sounds too good to be true, can I truly get a voucher for two free roundtrip airline tickets?
Although this is an exceptional and unique travel promotion it is NOT a scam. Hundreds of clients have traveled using this program without paying a cent for their airline tickets.
Where can I travel with the free airline tickets I will receive?
You can travel to any of the destinations that we offer on the FreeAirFare.ca website which is periodically updated. We offer 4 and 5 star properties throughout Western and Eastern USA, Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Europe, and even Asia.
Can I travel anytime of the year?
Yes, with the exception of the blackout dates between December 23 and January 7. We remind you that Spring Break and mid-July are also peak periods, so availability will be limited. Please note: A minimum advance booking of 45-60 days prior to the date of departure is required, and no travel may be booked before the bottom portion of your voucher has been duly completed, mailed in, and received by our travel department.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. All you need to pay for is the hotel and airline taxes as well as any other applicable taxes. The airline tickets are free. Some properties are all-inclusive while others require you to purchase food and beverages. You must stay at one of our participating hotels for the minimum night stay requirement (5-14 nights depending on destination). The travel agent will clearly explain and inform you of all expenses before you make the decision to book or not.
So what do I do once I get a voucher for two free airline tickets?
Each voucher requires a serial number, which is assigned directly by FreeAirfare.ca. To find out the serial number for your voucher, first call our Travel Support Hotline at 1-866-780-2520, or e-mail our Customer Support Department at support@freeairfare.ca, at least 72 hours after you have made your Sears purchase. When you receive the serial number, write it down immediately on your voucher in the space indicated in the lower right-hand quadrant (“Registration Form”) and at the top of the voucher. Keep the top part of the voucher for your records. Then fill in your coordinates, as requested on the bottom portion of the voucher. If you have already selected three top regions to which you would like to travel and three top desired dates of departure, fill these in immediately as well; if not, you may leave these fields blank. Finally, cut the bottom portion of your voucher along the dotted line and mail it to the address indicated on the voucher. As soon as we receive this coupon, one of our travel consultants will contact you to confirm the information you have submitted. No travel may be booked until we receive your completed voucher, so fill it out and mail it in today!
Will I be able to travel to the destination of my choice?
Once you have looked through the destinations on the FreeAirfare.ca website, you should choose 3 destinations that interest you along with 3 potential travel dates. The travel agent will then begin working on your first choice destination available for your first choice of travel date. Depending on certain factors such as a high season period or a popular destination, you may or may not get the first destination and date of your choice. However, the sooner you send in the voucher the better your possibilities of booking your first choices.
What are the prices for the destinations? Are they comparable to others?
On our website, you will find the starting price in Canadian currency per person per night. This price can vary depending on the date of travel. We give the best prices for the quality properties we offer. If at any time you find a cheaper price using any other travel resource and provide us written proof of the exact same property, accommodations and dates of travel, we will gladly match it.
Are there any rules or regulations?
The voucher is valid for one year from the day it is issued. Therefore, you must book, travel and have returned before the expiration date. It also takes from 45 to 60 days advance notice to book your destination. Please read the terms and conditions on your voucher.
Is the voucher for two free airline tickets transferable?
Yes, you can transfer your voucher to a person of your choice by faxing a signed letter of instruction to us. Please include your voucher serial number, as well as the name and contact information of both parties so we can process the transfer request.
